The arthouse in Guardia Sanframondi, Italy, is a fabulous historical property in the heart of the town’s medieval quarter – made famous by not just having been featured on House Hunters International twice, but by having been used in countless media nationally and internationally – as well as in photo-shoots, art residencies, exhibitions and installations, events, and as a B&B – during the past decade.
Guardia is a unique, authentic wine and olive town with a rich cultural and religious heritage. It’s situated conveniently for city trips (Naples, Rome), luxury leisure (the Amalfi coast, Capri, etc) and country activities ( mountains, skiing, wild swimming, fascinating ruins). It has been developing as an international community since 2012 when our first american TV show was aired, and now has a settled English-speaking community.
The house is a collection of beautiful rooms built directly into the crystal rocks of the old town, and added to over the centuries; 10 rooms, two balconies, one stunning panorama across the valley to the mountains beyond, natural ambience which includes a waterfall splashing nearby, two entrances from pedestrian streets below and above, and significant historical details.
It is a gem of a property, highly suited to a creative life and with even more potential should you wish to develop e.g. an independent apartment in the lower floor rooms.
